The naming system for
the physical world

Every website has a domain name. Now every place does too.
Give any location, event or thing a permanent, human-readable address.

DNS for the physical world

The internet works because every website has a permanent, human-readable address — a domain name. Type any domain and you arrive at the right place, anywhere in the world.

The physical world has never had an equivalent. GPS coordinates are machine instructions, not addresses. Geepers changes that.

A !Geep is a permanent, globally unique address for any physical location, event or thing. Every !Geep starts with ! — the universal signal that what follows is a physical-world address.

Examples
!David — your identity
!David.home — your front door
!David.home.backgate — your back gate
!uon.building4.room101 — Room 101, Building 4, UON
!northsydney.library.accessible — accessible entrance

Three steps to name your world

1

Claim your !Geep

Sign up and choose your primary !Geep — !YourName. It's your permanent identity in the physical world. Free for personal use.

2

Create sub-!Geeps

Add locations under your name — .home, .work, .address. Place the pin precisely on the map. Set who can see each one.

3

Share and navigate

Share any !Geep as a link. Anyone can open it and navigate straight there — no app needed. One tap, they're on their way.

If it exists in the physical world,
Geepers can name it

Simple, honest pricing

Common questions

What is a !Geep?

A !Geep is a permanent, human-readable address for any physical location, event or thing. Think of it like a domain name — but for the real world. Every !Geep starts with ! followed by a name: !David, !David.home, !northsydney.library.

Is Geepers really free?

Yes. Personal accounts with up to 15 !Geeps are free forever. That includes your primary !Geep, your data !Geeps (.email, .phone, .address, .meet), and room to create your own locations. No credit card required. Need more? Paid personal tiers are coming, and business, institutional and government namespaces are licensed.

Who can see my !Geeps?

You decide. Every !Geep has three visibility settings — Public (anyone), Shared (only people you share the link with), or Private (only you). You can change this at any time.

Do I need to download an app?

Geepers works in any mobile or desktop browser — no download needed. For background location recording with .now, the Geepers native app is available for Android (iOS coming soon).

Can I change my !Geep name?

Your primary !Geep name is permanent once registered — like a domain name. This is intentional: permanence is what makes Geepers useful. Choose your name carefully.

Built by an inventor,
for the world

Geepers was created by a serial inventor and entrepreneur based in New South Wales, Australia. The concept of a Global Naming System for physical locations has been an obsession since 2012 — a system that does for the physical world what DNS did for the internet.

The 2026 relaunch brings a significantly deeper vision: a protocol, not just a product. The ! sigil is designed to become the universal identifier for physical-world addresses — readable by humans, resolvable by machines, permanent forever.

An Australian provisional patent was filed in March 2026. The PCT international filing deadline is March 2027.
